Invisalign® Treatable Cases
To determine if you have a case treatable with Invisalign, our Morden general dentists will complete a comprehensive assessment of your teeth, gums, jaw and bite.
What types of issues can be treated with Invisalign?
Invisalign can treat a variety of misalignment and malocclusion cases.
The Invisalign Assessment Process
Medical History Review & Oral Examination
Your general dentist will begin by reviewing your medical and dental history to help determine if you are a candidate for Invisalign.
Next, your general dentist will perform an oral examination to identify any issues that may not have been apparent in your dental history. This process will include a physical examination of your teeth and gums and digital x-rays and impressions.
Treatment Plan Discussion & Getting Started
If your general dentist determines you are a candidate for Invisalign, they will discuss the details of your personalized treatment plan, and have your custom aligners created.
Then you're all set to schedule your first treatment appointment where you will be fitted for your aligners to ensure a comfortable wear. Then you'll be well on your way with treatment.
